Modern Talking, Dieter Bohlen ve Thomas Anders tarafından kurulan Alman müzik grubu.

1984 yılında You're My Heart, You're My Soul ile yakaladıkları çıkışın ardından You Can win, if you want ve Cheri Cheri Lady ile listelerde kalıcı olacaklarını kanıtladılar. Brother Louie ile önce İngiltere müzik listelerine ardından da Avrupa, Asya, Afrika ve Güney Amerika'da popüler oldular. Grubu oluşturan ikili 1987'de ayrıldılar. 1998'de yeniden bir araya geldilerse de 2003'te beraberlikleri kesin olarak bitti.

Besteci, söz yazarı, aranjör, kompozör, vokalist, solist olarak grubun beyni olan Dieter Bohlen solo albümlerini Blue System adı ile çıkardı. Ayrıca Chris Norman (Smokie), C.C. Catch, Bonnie Tyler, ve Bad Boys Blue gibi şarkıcı ve gruplara da destek oldu. 1989 yılında Lozan'da yapılan Eurovision Şarkı Yarışması'nda Avusturya (Thomas Förstner - Nur ein Lied) ve Almanya (Nino De Angelo - Flieger) adına besteci olarak katıldı.

Thomas her ne kadar boynundan hiç çıkarmadığı eşi Nora'nın ismi yazılı kolyesi ile hatırlansa da çıkardığı solo albümleri ile de kariyerini ispatladı.
